Arash — Biography
Arash is the stage name of Arash Labaf, an Iranian-Swedish singer, songwriter, producer and entertainer born in Tehran. Active internationally since the mid-2000s, his music combines Persian pop with dance, house, R&B and hip hop elements. His debut album, Arash, was released in 2005, and his early singles included “Boro Boro” and “Temptation.” He also represented Azerbaijan with Aysel at the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 with “Always,” which placed third.
آرش، نام هنری آرش لباف، خواننده، ترانهسرا، تهیهکننده و هنرمند ایرانی-سوئدی متولد تهران است. او از میانه دهه ۲۰۰۰ در سطح بینالمللی فعال شد و موسیقیاش ترکیبی از پاپ فارسی، دنس، هاوس، آراندبی و هیپهاپ است. نخستین آلبوم او با نام Arash در سال ۲۰۰۵ منتشر شد و قطعههایی مانند «Boro Boro» و «Temptation» در آغاز کارش مطرح شدند. او در یوروویژن ۲۰۰۹ همراه با آیسل نماینده جمهوری آذربایجان بود و با قطعه «Always» رتبه سوم را به دست آورد.
