Top Iranian Artists on Spotify
This page ranks Iranian and Persian-language artists by Spotify monthly listeners — the count of unique people who played them anywhere in the world in the last 28 days. It is a measure of reach: how wide an artist's audience is right now, from Tehran to Los Angeles to Toronto, placed on one shared scale regardless of where the music was made. Because the figure is a rolling 28-day window rather than a lifetime total, it reflects who is being discovered and replayed this month, not who was biggest a decade ago. FarsiChart tracks 407 Iranian artists in total.
Where the chart stands today
As of November 3, 2026, the most-streamed Iranian artist by Spotify monthly listeners is Arash, roughly 3,158,000 Spotify monthly listeners clear of Sevdaliza.
How the ranking works
The order comes from one public number and nothing else — Spotify monthly listeners, refreshed every 24 hours. Positions reflect real plays, not reputation, label push, or anyone's opinion of who deserves the spot. An artist who releases a strong track can climb quickly as new listeners arrive, then settle as the 28-day window rolls forward.
Why two separate platforms
Spotify monthly listeners measure reach, while RadioJavan plays measure repetition inside Iran. An artist can lead one chart and trail the other, and neither number is "more correct" — they answer different questions. That is why a separate RadioJavan chart runs alongside this one, and why comparing an artist's position on both is often more revealing than either rank on its own.
Frequently Asked Questions
How is the Spotify chart ranked?
By each artist's Spotify monthly listeners — unique people over the last 28 days — refreshed every 24 hours.
Why do positions change so often here?
Monthly listeners are a rolling 28-day figure, so a strong new release moves an artist up quickly and a quiet month moves them down.
