Arta Mir-Hosseini, known professionally as Arta, is a Persian rapper, songwriter, and music producer, best known as a member of The Wantons and one of the recognizable voices in modern Persian hip-hop. Born in Montreal and later based in Istanbul, Arta developed a sound that blends trap, melodic rap, R&B, and polished club-influenced production, often writing about ambition, relationships, loyalty, success, and the lifestyle surrounding the new generation of Persian rap. Through solo projects such as Ye Wan Tony, Tsunami, and Hitman, along with collaborations with artists like Koorosh, Behzad Leito, Sepehr Khalse, and international names including Smokepurpp and Desiigner, he has built a strong identity beyond the group’s fanbase. With Bardia Zadeh noted in a management role supporting his online presence, Arta remains primarily recognized for his own music, image, and influence within the Persian hip-hop scene.
