How we measure "rising"
For every tracked artist we compare today's Spotify monthly listeners against 28 days ago and take the percent gain. The list is ranked by that growth rate, not by total listeners. To keep out fake spikes, only artists with a real audience (at least 5,000 listeners) and enough history qualify — so a brand-new name with a near-zero base can't inflate its way to the top.
Why this list matters
Regular charts always favour big, established names.
