Bijan Mortazavi — Biography

Bijan Mortazavi is an Iranian violinist, singer, composer and songwriter born in Babol, Mazandaran Province, in 1957. He is associated with Persian pop and instrumental music centered on violin performance. After moving to the United States, he released music in the Iranian diaspora market, including Bijan Mortazavi: Magic of His Music and later albums such as Fire on Ice and Sweet Scent of Love. His recordings often combine violin-led instrumental passages with Persian-language vocal songs.

بیژن مرتضوی ویولن‌نواز، خواننده، آهنگساز و ترانه‌سرای ایرانی متولد بابل در استان مازندران در سال ۱۹۵۷ است. آثار او در محدوده پاپ فارسی و موسیقی سازی با محوریت ویولن قرار می‌گیرد. او پس از مهاجرت به آمریکا، آثار خود را در بازار موسیقی ایرانی خارج از کشور منتشر کرد؛ از جمله Bijan Mortazavi: Magic of His Music و آلبوم‌هایی مانند Fire on Ice و Sweet Scent of Love. ضبط‌های او معمولاً قطعه‌های سازی ویولن‌محور را با ترانه‌های فارسی ترکیب می‌کنند.
