Arian Band was an Iranian pop group formed in Tehran in the late 1990s. It was one of the first mixed-gender pop groups to receive official permission for activity in post-revolutionary Iran. The group’s music is associated with contemporary Persian pop, with vocal harmonies and band arrangements. Its public catalog includes albums such as Gole Aftabgardoon, Va Amma Eshgh, Ta Bi-Nahayat and Bi To Ba To, and songs including “Parvaz,” “Gole Aftabgardoon” and “The World Is Our Home” with Chris de Burgh.
