Farhad Mehrad — Biography
Farhad Mehrad was an Iranian singer, songwriter, guitarist and pianist born in Tehran in 1944. He was active from the 1960s until 1979 and again from 1989 until his death in 2002. His work is associated with Iranian pop, rock and folk. He was also connected to the Black Cats in the 1960s. His recorded catalog includes “Mard-e Tanha,” “Jomeh,” “Ayeneha,” “Shabaneh,” “Koodakaneh,” Khab Dar Bidari and Barf. He died in Paris in 2002.
فرهاد مهراد خواننده، ترانهسرا، گیتاریست و پیانیست ایرانی متولد تهران در سال ۱۹۴۴ بود. او از دهه ۱۹۶۰ تا ۱۹۷۹ و سپس از ۱۹۸۹ تا زمان درگذشتش در سال ۲۰۰۲ فعالیت داشت. آثار او در محدوده پاپ، راک و فولک ایرانی قرار میگیرد و در دهه ۱۹۶۰ با گروه بلک کتس نیز همکاری داشت. از آثار ثبتشده او میتوان به «مرد تنها»، «جمعه»، «آینهها»، «شبانه»، «کودکانه»، Khab Dar Bidari و Barf اشاره کرد. او در سال ۲۰۰۲ در پاریس درگذشت.
