Morteza Pashaei was an Iranian pop singer, musician and composer born in Aryashahr, Tehran, in 1984. He became publicly active around 2009 through online song releases and later entered the official Iranian pop market. His music is associated with contemporary Persian pop, and he is documented for songs such as “Yeki Hast,” “Jadeh Yek Tarafeh,” “Nafas,” “Asre Paeizi,” “Negarane Mani” and “Ghalbam Roo Tekrare.” He died in Tehran in 2014 after being diagnosed with stomach cancer.
