The most-played songs of the Iranian 1390s

As of September 10, 2026 the leaders are One Night in Dubai (feat. Helena), OMG (feat. Snoop Dogg) and Ey Joonam, out of 100 songs on this chart, ranked by real plays.

The decade streaming became normal

The 1380s made it possible to reach a listener without permission. The 1390s made it ordinary. Streaming replaced downloading as the way most people hear music, and the practical cost of publishing a song fell close to nothing. The result is the largest body of work in the catalogue by a wide margin, and by far the largest number of different artists on any decade chart here.

Volume changes what a high rank means

This is worth reading alongside the older decade charts rather than instead of them. A song at the top of the 1360s page is competing with a few hundred surviving records; a song at the top of this one is competing with thousands, released into a market where a listener has everything ever recorded available at once. The play counts are not directly comparable across decades, and the ranking within each decade is the honest comparison.

The long tail is real here

Because publishing was cheap, this decade contains a great deal of music that found a small audience and stopped. That is not a flaw in the chart — it is what the decade actually looked like. The songs listed here are the ones that broke out of that tail, which is a harder thing to do in the 1390s than in any decade before it.

How this chart is built

Membership comes from each song’s release date, with the Iranian year turning at Nowruz, and the order comes from plays. Nothing is placed in this decade by estimate; a song with no recorded date is simply absent.

Frequently asked questions

What is the most played song of the 1390s?

By play count, One Night in Dubai (feat. Helena) leads as of September 10, 2026, followed by OMG (feat. Snoop Dogg) and Ey Joonam.

What years is the Iranian 1390s decade?

Jalali 1390 to 1399, which is March 2011 to March 2021. English speakers would call this the 2010s.

Why does this decade have so many more songs than the others?

Because releasing became almost free. An artist no longer needed a label, a studio budget or a distributor to publish, so the annual output rose sharply — and everything published stayed available, which is not true of earlier decades.

Does a bigger catalogue make it harder to chart?

It makes the top of the chart harder to reach. A song here is competing against far more releases than one from the 1360s ever was, so the play counts at the top of this page are earned against much heavier competition.
