Who are the most popular Iranian female singers right now?
As of October 25, 2026 the most-streamed Iranian and Persian women are Sevdaliza, Hayedeh and Googoosh, ranked by live Spotify monthly listeners. The list refreshes every 24 hours, so it always reflects what Farsi-speaking audiences are actually playing.
Why this list is not simply the main chart with names removed
Of the 49 women tracked here, only five appear anywhere in FarsiChart’s overall top 50. Rank them against each other and a different picture emerges — one where the golden-age voices and a new wave of Persian female rappers sit side by side. That is the whole reason this page exists rather than pointing you at the main singers chart.
The golden age, still streaming
Googoosh, Hayedeh, Mahasti, Marzieh, Delkash and Pouran defined Persian popular music before 1979, and decades later several of them still out-stream contemporary artists on this chart. Their positions here are measured, not commemorative.
Persian female rappers
Rap-e farsi began as an overwhelmingly male scene and no longer is. Saaren, Sogand, NAVA and Satin all reach this chart on streaming numbers alone. For the wider genre see the Top Iranian Rappers.
Why the catalogue looks the way it does
Since 1979, solo vocal performance by women for a general audience has been restricted inside Iran; many of the best-known Persian female singers therefore built their careers abroad, across Los Angeles, Europe and Canada. FarsiChart measures the streaming record that history produced, without editorialising about it.
How this ranking works
Every position comes from current, verifiable streaming data — Spotify monthly listeners — refreshed daily. An artist appears here only when her profile records it; nobody is placed on this chart by assumption. Method on the about page.
Frequently asked questions
Who is the most popular Iranian female singer right now?
As of October 25, 2026, Sevdaliza is the most-streamed Iranian female singer on FarsiChart, followed by Hayedeh and Googoosh. The ranking updates daily from live Spotify data.
Who are the best Persian female singers of all time?
The golden-age voices — Googoosh, Hayedeh, Mahasti, Marzieh, Delkash and Pouran — remain the most-streamed Persian women decades on, and several of them still rank above contemporary artists on this live chart. That is measurable, not nostalgia.
Are there Iranian female rappers?
Yes. Persian rap has a growing group of women, and they rank high here: Saaren, Sogand, NAVA and Satin all appear on this chart by live streaming numbers alone.
Why do fewer Iranian women appear on the main chart?
Since 1979, solo vocal performance by women for a general audience has been restricted inside Iran, so a large share of the best-known Persian female singers have built their careers in the diaspora. That history shapes the catalogue this chart measures.
How is this list of Persian female singers ranked?
By current Spotify monthly listeners, refreshed every 24 hours. No editorial ordering — only the streams move the chart.
