Parisa — Biography
Parisa is the stage name of Fatemeh Vaezi, an Iranian classical vocalist and teacher born in Tonekabon in 1950. She is associated with Persian classical music and traditional vocal repertoire. She studied with Mahmoud Karimi and became known through performances in the Golha radio program and with the Iranian Center for Preservation and Dissemination of Music. After the 1979 Revolution, her public performance opportunities in Iran were restricted, while her teaching and international performances continued.
پریسا، نام هنری فاطمه واعظی، خواننده و مدرس آواز کلاسیک ایرانی متولد تنکابن در سال ۱۳۲۸ است. او در حوزه موسیقی دستگاهی و رپرتوار آواز سنتی ایران فعالیت دارد. پریسا نزد محمود کریمی آموزش دید و از طریق اجرا در برنامه گلها و همکاری با مرکز حفظ و اشاعه موسیقی ایران شناخته شد. پس از انقلاب ۱۳۵۷، امکان اجرای عمومی او در ایران محدود شد، اما فعالیت آموزشی و اجراهای بینالمللی او ادامه یافت.
