Marzieh — Biography
Marzieh was the stage name of Khadijeh Ashraf-o-Sadat Mortezaie, an Iranian singer born in Tehran in 1924. She was active from the 1940s until the late 1970s and again from the 1990s until her death in 2010. Her work is associated with Persian traditional music, classical vocal music and folk-influenced songs. She began performing through Radio Tehran and the Barbod Society, later working with major composers and lyricists of the radio era. After the 1979 Revolution, she lived in exile in France.
مرضیه، نام هنری خدیجه اشرفالسادات مرتضایی، خواننده ایرانی متولد تهران در سال ۱۳۰۳ بود. او از دهه ۱۳۲۰ تا اواخر دهه ۱۳۵۰ و سپس از دهه ۱۳۷۰ تا زمان درگذشتش در ۲۰۱۰ فعالیت داشت. آثار او در حوزه موسیقی سنتی ایرانی، آواز کلاسیک و ترانههای متأثر از موسیقی محلی قرار میگیرد. فعالیت حرفهای او از رادیو تهران و جامعه باربد آغاز شد و با آهنگسازان و ترانهسرایان مهم دوره رادیو همکاری کرد. پس از انقلاب ۱۳۵۷ در فرانسه زندگی کرد.
