Shery M — Biography
Shery M is an Iranian singer and songwriter who performs in Persian and English. Born Shahrzad Mohammadi in Tehran, she trained in opera at the Tehran Conservatorium and appeared as a soloist with the Belcanto Orchestra. Early influences included Hayedeh and Googoosh, followed by an interest in the vocal approaches of international pop performers. She moved to Vienna in 2016 and continued developing her career abroad. Goin’ Gone was her debut English-language single. Her second English single, It’s Possible, emerged from a collaboration with Alan Roy Scott at the 2025 Artisjus Songbook Camp in Budapest, extending her work into international songwriting sessions.
