Top Iranian Artists on RadioJavan
RadioJavan is the platform most Persian music listeners inside Iran actually use every day, and this page ranks Iranian artists by their monthly RadioJavan plays. That is a different question from the one Spotify answers: it measures how often a catalogue is replayed at home, in a market where an artist can be enormous inside the country while barely registering on a global service. Reading this chart tells you who is genuinely in rotation across Iran right now. FarsiChart tracks 407 Iranian artists in total.
Where the chart stands today
As of November 3, 2026, the most-streamed Iranian artist by monthly RadioJavan plays is Shadmehr Aghili, roughly 380,000 monthly RadioJavan plays clear of Ebi.
How the ranking works
The order comes from one public number and nothing else — monthly RadioJavan plays, the figure RadioJavan publishes on each artist's profile, refreshed here every 24 hours. No position is for sale, no label is consulted, and an artist who stops releasing will drift down as newer music is played more. The figure counts one month of plays rather than a whole career, so a big release shows up quickly, and so does a quiet month. RadioJavan publishes it rounded, in thousands or millions, and this chart shows it the same way.
Why two separate platforms
An artist's RadioJavan rank and their Spotify rank often disagree, and that gap is informative on its own. RadioJavan plays lean toward the audience inside Iran; Spotify monthly listeners lean toward the global and diaspora audience. A name that dominates RadioJavan but sits lower on Spotify is a domestic favourite; the reverse is an artist whose reach is strongest abroad. FarsiChart keeps the two charts separate so neither picture hides the other.
