Andy — Biography
Andy is the stage name of Andranik Madadian, an Iranian-Armenian singer, songwriter and actor born in Tehran. Active since the late 1970s, he performs mainly Persian pop, dance-pop, rock and soft rock, and has also recorded in Armenian and English. He was formerly part of the duo Andy & Kouros before continuing as a solo artist. His catalog includes albums and songs released through diaspora Persian labels, and in 2020 he received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
اندی، نام هنری آندرانیک مددیان، خواننده، ترانهسرا و بازیگر ایرانی-ارمنی متولد تهران است. او از اواخر دهه ۱۹۷۰ فعال بوده و آثارش بیشتر در محدوده پاپ فارسی، دنسپاپ، راک و سافتراک قرار میگیرد. اندی علاوه بر فارسی، به ارمنی و انگلیسی نیز خوانده است. او پیشتر در قالب دوئت اندی و کوروس فعالیت داشت و سپس مسیر انفرادی خود را ادامه داد. در سال ۲۰۲۰ نام او با دریافت ستاره در پیادهروی مشاهیر هالیوود ثبت شد.
