Faramarz Aslani — Biography

Faramarz Aslani was an Iranian singer, guitarist, songwriter, composer and music producer born in Tehran. He was active from 1977 until his death in 2024. His music is usually placed within Persian pop and folk-influenced singer-songwriter work, with guitar-centered arrangements. His debut album Occupation of the Heart was released in 1977 by CBS, and “Age Ye Rooz” became one of the songs most closely associated with his public catalog. He also released Hafez, a Memorandum, Days of Song and Sorrow, The Third Line and Midnight to Dawn.

فرامرز اصلانی خواننده، گیتاریست، ترانه‌سرا، آهنگساز و تهیه‌کننده موسیقی ایرانی متولد تهران بود. او از سال ۱۹۷۷ تا زمان درگذشتش در سال ۲۰۲۴ فعالیت داشت. موسیقی او بیشتر در محدوده پاپ فارسی و آثار خواننده-ترانه‌سرا با تأثیرهای فولک قرار می‌گیرد و گیتار در تنظیم‌های او نقش پررنگی داشت. نخستین آلبوم او با نام Occupation of the Heart در سال ۱۹۷۷ توسط CBS منتشر شد و قطعه «اگه یه روز» از آثار شاخص کارنامه عمومی اوست.
