Hassan Shamaizadeh — Biography
Hassan Shamaizadeh is an Iranian pop composer, singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist from Isfahan. He began as a wind-instrument player, including clarinet, before becoming active as a composer and singer in Iranian pop from the 1960s onward. His compositions were recorded by major Persian pop singers of the pre- and post-revolution diaspora scenes, including Googoosh, Dariush, Moein, Hayedeh, Mahasti, Homeyra, Aref, and Leila Forouhar. After the 1979 revolution, he continued his career in the United States.
حسن شماعیزاده آهنگساز، خواننده، ترانهسرا و نوازنده ایرانی اهل اصفهان است. او در آغاز با سازهای بادی مانند کلارینت فعالیت میکرد و سپس به آهنگسازی و خوانندگی در موسیقی پاپ ایرانی روی آورد. از دهه ۱۳۴۰ به بعد، بسیاری از ساختههای او با صدای خوانندگانی مانند گوگوش، داریوش، معین، هایده، مهستی، حمیرا، عارف و لیلا فروهر منتشر شد. پس از انقلاب ۱۳۵۷، فعالیت هنری خود را در خارج از ایران، بهویژه آمریکا، ادامه داد.
