O-Hum — Biography

O-Hum is an Iranian rock band formed in Tehran in 1998. The group is associated with Persian rock, alternative rock and fusion, using poems by Hafez and other Persian literary sources in rock arrangements. The band’s catalog includes Nahal-e Heyrat, Hafez in Love, Aloodeh, E-Hum: O-Hum Remixes 1999–2009 and other releases. Its work is documented as part of Iran’s post-1990s independent rock scene.

اوهام گروه راک ایرانی است که در سال ۱۹۹۸ در تهران شکل گرفت. آثار گروه در محدوده راک فارسی، آلترناتیو راک و فیوژن قرار می‌گیرد و شعرهای حافظ و دیگر منابع ادبی فارسی را در تنظیم‌های راک به کار می‌گیرد. در کارنامه اوهام آثاری مانند Nahal-e Heyrat، Hafez in Love، Aloodeh، E-Hum: O-Hum Remixes 1999–2009 و دیگر انتشارها دیده می‌شود. فعالیت آن بخشی از جریان راک مستقل ایران پس از دهه ۱۹۹۰ محسوب می‌شود.
