Roohnikan — Biography

Roohnikan is an Iranian pop singer and lyricist also known as Masoud Roohnikan. Before concentrating on music, he worked in photography and gained experience in film. Encouragement from musicians including Mehdi Jahani, Ehsan Gheibi and Ashvan led him to pursue music classes more seriously in 2010–11. Several years of practice and making recordings preceded a more visible release period in 2017–18. Havaset Akhe Kojas helped establish his name during this phase. He subsequently worked with collaborators including Hamed Baradaran, Shayan Eshraghi, Imin and Amirali Bahadori, continuing his career through both vocal performance and lyric writing.
