Amir D-va — Biography

Amir D-va is an Iranian producer, arranger and singer whose career connects electronic production with Persian rap. Born Amirhossein Delband, he studied music at the Tehran Conservatory and initially developed his performing experience through rock-band rehearsals. Those circles introduced him to rappers and eventually to Amir Tataloo at Nader Koohestani’s studio. Their collaboration on Badtar Shod in 2010–11 marked an important stage in his move into rap production. He had opened his own studio in 2008, where he worked across arranging, recording, mixing and mastering. He has also collaborated with acts including Zedbazi and Tik Taak, building a career that combines studio production, composition, guitar playing and his own vocal work.
