Mahdyar — Biography
Mahdyar is the stage name of Mahdyar Aghajani, an Iranian composer, producer and musician from Tehran. He is associated with Persian hip hop, experimental electronic music and soundtrack work. He became known through production for Iranian rap artists including Hichkas and the Moltafet collective, and his catalog includes Seized, Tehran Tapes, Soundtrack of Tehran and other solo and collaborative projects. His production work has been important to the sound of several Persian rap recordings.
مهدیار، نام هنری مهدیار آقاجانی، آهنگساز، تهیهکننده و موسیقیدان ایرانی اهل تهران است. آثار او در حوزه هیپهاپ فارسی، موسیقی الکترونیک تجربی و موسیقی متن قرار میگیرد. او از طریق تولید موسیقی برای هنرمندان رپ ایرانی، از جمله هیچکس و مجموعه ملتفت، شناخته شد و در کارنامهاش آثاری مانند Seized، Tehran Tapes، Soundtrack of Tehran و پروژههای انفرادی و همکاریهای دیگر دیده میشود. نقش تولیدی او در شکلگیری صدای بخشی از رپ فارسی ثبت شده است.
