Saeed Arab — Biography

Saeed Arab is an Iranian pop singer and composer from Tehran who began his musical development as an instrumentalist. He played melodica from ten and became more serious about melody writing and piano at seventeen. Arrangers he met subsequently encouraged him to sing his own material, leading him towards a recording career. His debut album, Mehraboonam, received its release permit in 2011–12 after several years of preparation. Concerts and singles followed. Later collaborators included Ali Hosseinzadeh, Mehrzad Amirkhani and members of Puzzle Band. Alongside singing, Arab has continued writing melodies and has taken responsibility for composition and arrangement on some of his projects.
