Aghasi — Biography
Aghasi was the stage name of Nematollah Azmoodeh, an Iranian singer and songwriter born in Ahvaz in 1939. He was active from the 1960s until the early 2000s and was associated with Persian popular music, Laleh-Zar performance culture and southern Iranian-influenced popular songs. His public catalog includes “Ameneh,” “Lab-e Karoon,” “Vaveyla Leyli” and other recordings released through Iranian and diaspora labels. He died in Karaj in 2005.
آغاسی، نام هنری نعمتالله آزموده، خواننده و ترانهسرای ایرانی متولد اهواز در سال ۱۳۱۸ بود. او از دهه ۱۳۴۰ تا اوایل دهه ۱۳۸۰ فعالیت داشت و آثارش با موسیقی عامهپسند فارسی، فضای اجراهای لالهزار و ترانههای متأثر از جنوب ایران پیوند دارد. در کارنامه عمومی او قطعههایی مانند «آمنه»، «لب کارون»، «واویلا لیلی» و آثار دیگر منتشرشده از طریق ناشران ایرانی و مهاجرتی دیده میشود. او در سال ۱۳۸۴ در کرج درگذشت.
