Iraj Bastami — Biography
Iraj Bastami was an Iranian classical vocalist and composer born in Bam in 1957. He was active from the late 1980s until his death in the 2003 Bam earthquake. His work is associated with Persian classical music and traditional vocal performance. Bastami studied with teachers of Iranian music and recorded works including Mojdeye Bahar, Afshari Morakkab, Vatane Man, Khazan va Arezou, Bouye Norouz, Sokout and Raghse Ashofteh. His recorded catalog remains part of modern Persian classical vocal music.
ایرج بسطامی خواننده آواز کلاسیک ایرانی و آهنگساز متولد بم در سال ۱۳۳۶ بود. او از اواخر دهه ۱۳۶۰ تا زمان درگذشتش در زلزله بم در سال ۱۳۸۲ فعالیت داشت. آثار او در حوزه موسیقی دستگاهی و آواز سنتی ایرانی قرار میگیرد. بسطامی نزد استادان موسیقی ایرانی آموزش دید و آثاری مانند Mojdeye Bahar، Afshari Morakkab، Vatane Man، Khazan va Arezou، Bouye Norouz، Sokout و Raghse Ashofteh در کارنامه او ثبت شدهاند.
