Mohammad Nouri — Biography
Mohammad Nouri was an Iranian singer and composer born in Rasht in 1929. He was active from the 1940s until his death in 2010 and is associated with Persian pop, folk-influenced song and classical vocal training. He studied literature and music and worked across radio, stage and recorded music. His public catalog includes “Jaan-e Maryam,” “Iran Iran,” and other songs that combine orchestral popular music with Iranian melodic material.
محمد نوری خواننده و آهنگساز ایرانی متولد رشت در سال ۱۳۰۸ بود. او از دهه ۱۳۲۰ تا زمان درگذشتش در سال ۱۳۸۹ فعالیت داشت و آثارش در حوزه پاپ فارسی، ترانههای متأثر از موسیقی محلی و آواز کلاسیک قرار میگیرد. نوری در ادبیات و موسیقی آموزش دید و در رادیو، صحنه و ضبط موسیقی فعالیت کرد. در کارنامه او آثاری مانند «جان مریم» و «ایران ایران» دیده میشود که موسیقی عامهپسند ارکسترال را با ملودیهای ایرانی پیوند میدهند.
